  • kindred (octavia butler)
  • the twelve kingdoms: a thousand leagues/shadow of the mountain (fuyumi ono)
  • in the hand of the goddess (tamora pierce)

now, does anyone else have any recommendations while i’m loading it up?

fyi i have been on a shirley jackson streak so if you know anything remotely similar to we have always lived in castle or haunting of hill house, hit that reply button/ask box plz

  1. drumstyle said: ooh, Kindred owns. def the type of book that stays with you long after it’s been read. have you read shirley jackson’s short stories? i think they’re usually published in one collection, and they’re great as well.
